Winning Ways

Destined to Win

GOD lives in me! My life is linked to His as long as I live. With Him I will always be a winner because He has never lost any battle. Even over death and the grave, JESUS was victorious.
Walking with God assures me of victory and fulfilment wherever I go. Doing His will gives me the feeling of greatness and security. My life is hid under His and I am utterly secured. The world is full of evil and hopelessness but with God I will always be a conqueror.
When I think of His wondrous works for my sake, I rejoice for He is the King of my life and the joy of my salvation.

I am destined to win
I am destined to overcome
I am destined to live a fulfilled life in GOD.

10 Essential Health Tips
(The Basics to Practice Every Day)

"He who has health has hope, and he who has hope has everything." -Arabian Proverb
1. Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Walk your dog; chase your kids; toss balls with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more. Thought for the day: Cha, Cha, Cha…. Then do it!
2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise. Thought for the day: Lean, mean, fat-burning machine…. Then be one!
3. Quit Smoking
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Smoking is very injurious to human health. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of smokers. Thought for the day: Give up just one cigarette…. the next one.
4. Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.
5. Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt from the street deterrent. Thought for the day: 'Smoke gets in your eyes'…and your mouth, and your nose and your lungs as do pollutants….hum the tune daily.
6. Wear Your Seat Belt
Statistics show that seat belts add to longevity and help alleviate potential injuries in car crashes. Thought for the day: Buckle down and buckle up.
7. Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't? Thought for the day: Floss and be your body's boss.
8. Avoid Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages can cause serious health problems such as liver and kidney disease and cancer. You can live happily without soaking yourself in alcohol. Thought for the day: Quit every bad habit today.

9. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook
There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life. Thought for the day: You can't be unhappy when you're smiling or singing.
10. Choose Your Parents Well
The link between genetics and health is a powerful one. But just because one or both of your parents died young in ill health doesn't mean you cannot counteract the genetic pool handed you. Thought for the day: Follow these basic tips for healthy living and you can better control your own destiny.

Water Works for Weight Loss
Nothing quells the appetite like water, lots and lots of water. Start out with two quart bottles in the morning and carry one with you to work or wherever you go. If you like, divvy up the 64 ounces of water into eight (8-ounce) bottles or four pint (16-ounce) bottles to carry around with you all day. Freeze half of them the night before and they will last all day, even in a hot car. Keep some unfrozen so they will be ready to drink immediately.
Yes. You will have to make more frequent bathroom trips, but it is worth it. Drink your 64 ounces of water before dinner, if possible, so you're not up half the night going to the bathroom.
Water not only fills you up and lessens your appetite, it prevents those "hungry horrors" we all encounter when our blood sugar drops and we reach for cookies, candy, ice cream, fries or other high-calorie treats. Water also flushes out the system, rids the body of bloat and toxins and rosies up the complexion. Now, start splashing.
Weight Training Tip
If you want to benefit from an aerobic workout too while weight training, try supersets. This simply involves taking two exercises (not for the same muscle group) and performing one after the other with minimal rest. We recommend pausing for a maximum of 45 seconds between sets and/or machines. The continuous effort helps you achieve an aerobic state. Biceps and triceps are excellent body parts to superset.
Stress Management Tip
For every one hour of work, take a five minute break and stretch, walk, or meditate. With just a few minutes of relaxation (or doing something other than work), you'll increase your physical activity as well as productivity and feel better throughout the day.

Dear Reader,

If you're thinking about trying the Master Cleanse take a moment to read this important letter and see if the diet is right for you. It's true the Master Cleanse can help you lose up to 20 pounds, look younger, ease chronic pain, cleanse your body of internal waste, and boost your energy levels in 10 days but... Most People Don't Last 1 Day On The Master Cleanse. You know the saying - "if it was easy everyone would be doing it".
Well dear reader that saying holds true with the Master Cleanse as well. Now don't up and leave this site just yet because I'm going to be showing you how to make the Master Cleanse much more "doable". I've shared these tips with people who could never come close to finishing the Master Cleanse, and they went on to breeze right through the entire 10 days. You won't find this information any place else. But before we get to that lets take a closer look at how the Master Cleanse works and what it can do for you.
The Master Cleanse Recipe -
How To Make The LemonadeHere's the recipe for making the Master Cleanse lemonade:
* 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice
* 2 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup
* 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
* 10 oz of filtered water
That recipe is for a single serving of lemonade, and you should drink 6-12 servings a day. You can also make up a big batch by multiplying that recipe by however many servings you plan on drinking which is what I like to do. Just make sure you keep it refrigerated, and don't make more then one days supply because you want the lemonade to be as fresh as possible when you drink it. You might be wondering about how the lemonade tastes.
The cayenne pepper is a real concern for some people, but the lemonade is surprisingly tasty. The cayenne pepper gives the lemonade a nice kick. What if you don't like spicy drinks? Here's a tip:
Take two cayenne pepper capsules with each glass of lemonade instead of mixing the ground cayenne pepper into the drink. You can find cayenne pepper capsules at most health food and vitamin stores for around $5 a bottle.
Now most people will take that recipe and jump right in to the Master Cleanse. That's a big mistake. There's more to the Master Cleanse then the average person might think. Before you decide to try the Master Cleanse you need to know:
How to prepare yourself before starting the cleanse. What to do during the Master Cleanse to reduce side effects, or avoid them all together. What to do after the Master Cleanse because you defiantly don't want to go back to your old diet right after the cleanse. And finally, how to keep the results you got long after you've finished the Master Cleanse - this ones important! When you know all these things you'll have a much easier time finishing the Master Cleanse, and you'll benefit more then those who don't. Speaking of benefits let's take a look at what the Master Cleanse can do for you.
10 Days To A Whole New You. As soon as you start the Master Cleanse your body will begin a process of rapid detoxing and rejuvenation. The changes you'll experience happen fast--so fast you're bound to get the WOW! response from the people you know. Don't be surprised if a few people pull you aside and secretly ask if you've had some "work done".

Your Thought

Every large city has a distinctive image, a personality that gives it its own cachet. Faith makes the difference. Faith sees the invisible, believes in the incredible and accepts the impossible.

Change Your Thought

The true measure of a person's though is in his height of ideas, the breadth of his sympathy, the depth of his convictions and the length of his patience.

Everything we see around us was first an idea in the mind. Each of us is an idea in the Universal mind. Whether we like it or not this is a "mental" world. A man is the sum total of his dominating and most prominent thoughts. No man changes, until the mind changes. What you read determines your thoughts and your thought determines your height in life. The difference between a Doctor and a Conductor is not the size of their heads, but the content of their heads. You cannot grow above what you know. If you refuse to learn you will lean. Your learning power determines your earning power. Where you are today is the product of the knowledge you have acquired in time past and the information you had access to. There is no revolution without a revelation, for if you know better, you will live better. Your successes in life, face and fortune have a direct correlation to your particular and consistent thought pattern. If you ever fail in life, then you must know that it all began within you and only you can catapult yourself from the lower rungs of the ladder to the round table of the great and might.
